Soul Winners Boot Camp 2010
Soul Winners Boot Camp in El Dorado was awesome! Churches from all around the area gathered to learn valuable tools that can be used to reach out to the lost in their communities. Matt Mattix and his teams focus for this year was retention, retention and retention. Some of the subjects taught were "the mind of a soul winner", "how to effectively teach Home Bible Studies:, and "follow-up and retention". The 10 disk series can be purchased for $30. The teaching from this event has dramatically impacted our church. We have incorporated an "outreach Monday" which has resulted in weekly Bible Studies and return visitors. To God be the Glory! Boot Camp Summary These events are really not about the numbers, but they do highlight some of the great things God has done throughout the event. We publish these numbers to give God the glory, we claim none of it.
Friday night Youth Bash: Praise and Worship provided by "the last Adam" from Tupelo, MS, preaching from Matt Mattix. 55 received the Holy Ghost and 18 were baptized in Jesus Name!
Saturday afternoon "Kidzfest" (a community block party): 30 received the Holy Ghost and 15 were baptized in Jesus Name including one of the band members!
